I know no one is coming to save us; I'm not waiting for permission to defend what matters. I know something comes after this part, and we can't wait until it's "over" to name the future we want. We start building it now, in how we show up, what we refuse to accept, and who we refuse to abandon.

Trump pardoned Jason Galanis, a convicted fraudster that had been ordered to pay more than $80 million in restitution to those he defrauded. The pardon wiped out the restitution obligation. If you're falling for the fraud excuse, you're not watching the patterns.
This will devastate millions of families who rely on these services to survive.

Make no mistake: this has nothing to do with supposed "fraud" or any other excuse Trump whips up. This is about enacting revenge on states that stand up to him and his cruel agenda.

There's a particular species of grievance that blooms in the hothouse of comfort. If the apology you're being "freed from" was never actually demanded by anyone, you're cultivating weeds in an empty garden, tending to threats that exist only in the soil of your imagination. differsense.substack.com

This isn't about grammar. It's about how we construct reality through language. You need to ask: Who's missing from this sentence? Whose hand is being hidden? Because when the subject disappears, so does the accountability.

Actions only speak louder than words if you’re actually paying attention to the actions to see if they match. Otherwise, the words win by default because they’re easier, shinier, and designed so you don't have to think too hard (or read past the headlines).

#Elections have consequences... and we've seen a lot of consequences lately. Local races often have immediate impact on your community. Low turnout means a small group of voters makes decisions for everyone else. Make your voice count! #vote #trump #electionday #resist #voting #us #uspolitics
It's ELECTION DAY!

If you're voting today, make sure you fill out your entire ballot.

Some of the biggest issues affecting the public are determined by races and ballot measures that don't appear at the top of the ticket.

26% increase in insurance premiums, and I'm just one person - the increase would be devastating if I had to cover other members of my family. They're holding SNAP and WIC hostage so they can increase your insurance premiums so they can line their pockets.

Hey Mikey. I've got questions. Why are your salaries considered essential when you're not working? Which part of being a "co-equal branch" suggests you get to clock out when its hard? Is the plan to resolve this via telepathy, or are you banking on thoughts and prayers doing the legislative work?

I'm not a fan of #TheResistance. Resistance is a reaction. It exists within a frame of a legitimate govt. It's not enough. The people are what powers everything - our money, our labor, our data. Billionaires & politicians are irrelevant without us. Quit resisting. Start asserting your power.

I can't muster outrage over the destruction of a building - not after what we've witnessed this year. I'm saving my outrage for the actual humans who are being treated as pawns by billionaires and con men. Our taxes are funding this bs, all while our food, housing and healthcare costs skyrocket.
