I read. I accumulate. I listen. I divulge. I quit. I work. I watch. I periodically post my favorite snippets from books and poems. You can call me whatever makes you feel comfortable.
Don’t you want to lift my shirt and see the huge beating genius machine that thinks, no, it knows, it’s going to come in first.

If you’re feeling recommendy today send me some new music to try out…I’m a promiscuous listener so I’ll try anything once (except that fucking blasphemous new country shit…sorry not sorry).

Hey everyone! My cat had dental surgery today so I'm reposting this to see if anybody wants to buy some original art from MILES DAVIS & THE SEARCH FOR THE SOUND or SPECTRUM! Hit me up, DM's open!
Look at these pages. There’s something here for you or for a loved one. More affordable than you think, maybe?

And my pages almost always have some extra medium on them, colored ink washes, colored pencils, etc.

DM for info!!

One must work and riot and throw oneself into the whirl. Boredom and denseness are the two unforgivable sins. We’ll have plenty of time to be bored when the little white worms crawl about our bones in the crescent putrifying earth.

Reading Mike Grell’s Green Arrow is like coming home again. Those 1985-1990 era comics are my jam as old people like to say.

I am taking a sabbatical from the news, but I hope someone will tell me if we go to war with Canada.

If Ian MacKaye doesn’t answer I ask Guy Picciotto , then Joe Lally, and then Brendan Canty. If none of them answer then I just lock myself in my room and read comics and listen to NOFX until someone sends the cops to do a welfare check on me.

In bad times and in good I always ask myself what would Ian MacKaye do?

I firmly believe the only thing that can save us now is a new Fugazi album.

I’d love a new Question book set in the “real world.” He could debunk all the stupid conspiracies floating around and confront corrupt politicians. Who doesn’t want to see @denyscowan.bsky.social draw a bunch of politicians getting punched in the mouth?

I’ve become a Smudge/Living the Line addict. If they keep reprinting these bizarre 1970s horror books I’ll be a fan forever. I don’t buy a lot of physical books anymore because my shelves are full, but I’m making space for all the Smudge books. SO WEIRD! Beautiful.

We are always so dismayed by death but Cioran was right when he said:

And ahead of old age and death he places
the fact of birth, source of every infirmity, every disaster.
