I have watched a small number of these videos from the REAL people who have lost their jobs.
Only when there are catastrophic times do we see and hear from the people doing the real work.
EVERY person in the US will be hurt in some real way by this coup.

It’s the last full day of this administration. I was so relieved when they entered office, knowing we were in good hands with people who actually cared.

‘Twas the night before Earpmas, and in the homestead remodeled, Not a creature was stirring, not surprising after all the night’s whisky unbottled. Nicole and Waverly up the stairs, together entwined, This is PG-13 so we won’t mention on what delicacies they might have earlier dined. Doc and Wynonna were nestled shivering in the barn, Wishing Waverly had knitted them a thicker Afghan with all her crafty posh yarn. Nedley and Rachel crashed in a camper parked near. Billy, too, but in a separate bunk, for Nedley he still fears. When from the kitchen an alarm so piercingly blared Hark, was it a skunk or a demon or a monster one of their traps had ensnared?!? Nicole -- Sheriff Haught, as she’s now rightly known Was the first to get upright and out of bed she so flown. Down the stairs, past the chore wheel, oh, she went fast! Out the door, with her gun, totally ready to blast. But she found in the snow, hers weren’t the sole tracks, For her friend was there also, actually her best, no take backs. “What is it?” “What is what?” “The alarm, you daft dolt!” “An alarm?” “Yes of course, why else from your bed did you bolt?!” “I heard you scream” “I did not!” “Yes, you did” “Are you drunk?!” “Yeah, a bit, what’s your point?” “Just wishing through this I had better thunk!” “Thunk? Is that what you said? Is that even a word?” “Oh, so now you’re an English prof? How very absurd!” “Oh my god,” Waves cut in, “Will you two shut up!?” “We’ve a trespasser or worse, you need to nut up!” The friends, they snapped to, refocused to fight For their favorite half-angel, as always, was right! Rachel appeared in her boots with an ice saw Billy at her side, eyes wide and in awe. Doc then was there, wearing a night cap with ear flaps: “I thought you’d disarmed all those damn blasted traps!” Nicole also had believed that was true She shrugged ruefully, “I guess we missed one or two!” So, they split into pairs, checking each trap in turn Who or what was this intruder, they were determined to learn! It was merely five minutes, or perhaps it was eight The beast, it was found, time to meet its fate! The crew gathered ‘round a left-over pit Weapons drawn and trained and ready to spit! But what to their eyes then became clear? Surely, it turned out, it was nothing to fear. “Jeremy?! What the hell? We thought you abroad?” “I was but… I guess I wanted to be with my squad?” All hearts still beat twice their usual speed But… those hearts also softened, understanding the need When there’s way too much wrong, and so much to fear It’s important to hold tight to what’s right, and what’s dear. Rachel and Billy gave each other a shy glance Maybe they’d sneak out tonight (though Nedley’s look said ‘fat chance!’) Wyn reached for Doc’s hand, in his grip she so basked, (But of course she’d deny that if ever she were asked) Nicole finally lowered her gun and her guard As her wife went over and squeezed her friend hard “Come inside, by the fire, and sleep a short spell.” “In the morning the tale of journey to us you can tell. Then Jeremy collected from all some Eve hugs Wynonna whispering where, if needed, he could find some earplugs And while at first, for the chaos he caused, Jer did seem chagrin But in the end, dropping in on his fam seemed not really a sin Cuz while it was freezing, it was frigid and it oh so so cold, Wanting to be with those who you choose is nothing to scold For community and family isn't whose DNA we share It's the people we meet; it's the people who care. So, to #Earpers out there, though this might sound trite, From my heart, Happy Holidays to you all, and to all a good night!"
