It is done, and it is glorious 🙃. 2024 crochet temperature blanket. This got be through a rough back half of the year. When I felt like I could not control things, this was the one thing I could focus on. 🧶

PSA for cat owners in the US: cats have been contracting H5N1 (bird flu). They are very susceptible to it and the fatality rate for cats is 67%. To avoid it:
-keep your cats indoors. They can catch it from infected birds and mice.

I just learned how to make my corners and joins flatter. It’s called spinning seams. I started sewing my scraps together to try it out. They’re so FLAT. I can’t stop sewing them because ironing that seam open is so satisfying. I wish I learned this before I did the baby quilt with all those HSTs.

Finally finished Round 2 of this quilt! I made the first one slightly wrong and I decided to remake it. I’m super glad I did. I think it looks leaps and bounds better. See Round 1 in the comments. #QuiltSky
