When he showed up on my dad’s property, my dad wouldn’t come home for Christmas because he thought the cat was a super pregnant cat and it was super cold and he didn’t want kittens out in the cold. He lured the cat in, vet visited, and cat was a male.
His name was literally “Fatcat”.

Yup. We caught it fortunately in time. Cat was feral and indoor in our house - he wouldn’t let us near him until he got sick. I was super nervous medicating him (a large feral defensive cat). He ended up being our baby - the best, sweetest cat ever.

I accidentally did that with my dad’s severely overweight cat. He ended up okay-ish, but it was scary. I had no clue. I was trying to be careful.
