Greenwald, Taibibi, and Moyn all show in different ways how the radical truth to power bad boy who tells those hypocrites like it is! shtick eventually just leads you to being the most craven of apologists for powerful people who never even pretend to have any kind of virtue.

Yikes. The Trustee mentioned is Scott Yenor, who despite that attitude is a professor at Boise State University. Prof. Yenor has spoken out against women entering the workforce, calling women who work outside the home "medicated, meddlesome, and quarrelsome"

Rimma was going to a church when a Russian drone dropped explosives on the public bus and killed her and two other passengers and injured 11. Today.

She was a volunteer; helped people and animals, worked a lot with the animal shelter I know. 💔

⚡️Ukrainians whose cities, towns, and villages have been erased completely from the face of the earth have an experience of memory emptiness few of us, I hope, will ever know.

I feel a little of it, when I think of moments, places, people I knew in Severodonetsk, a city living its best life.

The events in Aleppo/Syria are what happens when autocrats are overstretched.

Don’t be mistaken - the autocrat we speak of is Putin’s Russia.

Russia can’t contain all the “fires” at once.

Autocratic overstretch is always the regime’s greatest weakness.

It can lead to regime collapse.

The entrance to Poti Port is reportedly blocked by citizens. This is the first time such an event has occurred in Georgia’s history. Working on obtaining footage.

To give you an idea of the ambitious way in which some of the media are now covering Ukraine, German public broadcaster ARD has opened a permanent studio in Kyiv. There's no secret about it: if you want to do a good job, you have to provide the resources. Well done ARD!

This just proves that you could literally be the most g-rated version of a queer person ever and these people will STILL consider you perverted and inappropriate for children.

I mean the extent of the gayness in Heartstopper is literally just gazing in each other's eyes and Disney level smooches

Ten years ago, two atrocities were committed in the space of a single week. Thousands died in August 2013 between the Rabaa massacre in Egypt, and the Ghouta massacre in Syria. Both Assad and Sisi, the perpetrators, remain in power and their regimes normalised. There is still no justice.
