LYE - The public facing host and caretaker, as well as a terrible comfort eater. Self-sacrificing and meek, they constantly feel guilty for existing and fearful of taking up too much space. They like to feel like a dependable butch. Enjoys drawing little details. Likes fun drinks, musicals and swimming. ART - The often overzealous and self-destructive protector. He is a bulimic and rejection-sensitive masochist who often must be reigned in. Passionate about art and creating, he has a lot of input on the artistic process. Enjoys drawing bodies & hands. Likes bad movies, synth music and feeling masculine. PEN - Gentle, vulnerable and friendly, he is by far the most emotional alter - to the point that his emotions can be overwhelming, distressing or inconvenient to the others. He is not a child but feels like “a small, broken, sad thing”, like a lost toy. Enjoys drawing cute characters. Likes toys, chocolate and love stories. INK - The judgemental, controlling and abusive persecutor. They want the others to either live up to their standards or kill themselves, and the refusal to do either leaves Ink feeling trapped and hopeless. Suicidal and self-depreciating, and believes they are correct about everything. Enjoys very little. Likes reading about biology and psychology. NIB - The animalistic, feral stim beast. Communicates in vocal stims and body language, and sometimes annoys the others with incessant strings of nonsense words. Enjoys drawing lots of little doodles. Likes rubbing their hands against textures, puzzle games and sour apple candy. EAS - Non-communicative, avoidant and depressed. Wants to be left alone so they can hide, and becomes resentful when dragged out of hiding. Has zero awareness of time. Enjoys writing stories sometimes but hates being asked about them. Likes weighted blanket, cold drinks and literary parallels. SET - Lurks deep down inside. In the car metaphor, it hides in the trunk. Suicidal hopelessness. Likes piano music.
