DOOCY: So what happened to the Epstein client list that the attorney general said she had on her desk?

LEAVITT: I think if you go back and look at what the attorney general said

DOOCY: I've got the quote. She said, it's sitting on my desk right now to review.

"The Nazis... imagined their targets would self-deport. Once the myth of self-deportation collapsed, they turned to more punitive measures. On Tuesday, Noem similarly noted the Everglades camp was meant to frighten immigrants into self-deporting. 'If you don’t,' she said, 'you may end up here.'"
Opinion | Don’t call it ‘Alligator Alcatraz.’ Call it a concentration camp.
This facility’s purpose fits the classic model, and its existence points to serious dangers ahead for the country.

If you think it's so immaterial, maybe call a few seniors in nursing homes and explain to them where they'll go next.

Call the mom of a kid with disabilities who won't be able to pay for a new wheelchair.

Call just one person whose life you're going to tear apart.

Imagine if, before the primary in 2023, Fetterman had simply accurately stated what he would do as senator. What percentage of the primary vote would he have gotten?
Important: Later today Senators will vote on whether to rein in Trump's warmaking authorities. A few Dems could still defect. Fetterman is a No for now, but I'm told he doesn't want to be the vote that kills it.

Every Dem absolutely should be for this.

New from me:

Trump’s Fury over Iran Failings Just Got Worse. Take Note, Dems.
John Fetterman may vote with Republicans on the war authorization measure. This would only embolden Trump at a time when he is clearly growing more unhinged.

"While a successful democracy depends on some degree of reasonableness from voters, a successful liberal democracy also depends on some degree of responsibility and even courage from elites."

The people are passing this test, and the elites are not.
The Public Is Resisting Trump. The Elites Aren’t.
The president is encountering little resistance as he remakes our society. And yet polling is clear that voters aren’t with him.

States are bracing for a possible trade war. Some more than others
Increases in tariffs come soon, would affect U.S. states in different ways. States that rely on exports or imports of goods are the most vulnerable.
