I can never believe how many separate steps are involved in a Kickstarter book release. It's all I've been doing for a month or two. Kind of like air travel. When I'm in a plane, I'm thinking, "I'll never do this again." But then ta-da, I'm somewhere I wanted to be. www.rudyrucker.com/sqinks/

Slop Generators, indeed. A lot of words to tell you one thing. If your job or work product disallows accessing or using proprietary information, using a LLM is a bad idea. Things like clean room implementations, reverse engineering, etc. will become liable. asahilinux.org/docs/project...

This is fun reading, has great programmer lingo and slang. Making the point that AI-written code kind of sucks even if it works. Like the hideous HTML that Calibre writes...

Note that the late great John walker created a free online version of our CA LAB under the title CelLab, fully coded in HTML5. Here's our adored "Maxine Headroom," created by an asymmetric Rug rule.:

I made a thing today. Ironic that I'm posting about it here, because it's a little server that gives RESTful APIs to interact with Twitter. Made it for #kilroy hook its LLMs to Twitter, but any app can use it:

Word to the wise. If you decide to validate a custom domain name as your BlueSky handle, don't forget to re-register/claim your old Bluesky ID so someone else doesn't pick it up and impersonate you....

Take control of your investing strategies with Kilroy's local integration with AIs like Llama 3.1. Trade with any popular exchange or defi protocol with a few clicks. Serious traders can develop their own AI-backed strategies with Kilroy's drag-and-drop programming.

If you know what this is, DM for more info on how to get it running on your own desktop. If you don't, well, it's one of the many strategy automation apps running on the Kilroy personal defi platform. Devs and sophisticated defi users only, please!

#Tesla has the most user hostile online ordering processes. Look at the site wrong and it costs you a non-refundable $250. Helped a friend order a new car on HER account. Paid the fee with my credit card and the moronic web site assigned the new car order to my account, which wasn't even logged in.

$TSLA shareholders vote to dilute their own holdings by $56B. In what kind of f-ed up universe is one narcissist's contribution to a business worth $56B and how is rewarding brand destruction in the interests of shareholders? Glad I sold a long time ago...

My partner in crime, @b05crypto.bsky.social, and I are starting a new podcast this week, called "The Realm of the Possible". We'll be discussing the *real* things that can be accomplished with AI, LLMs, and a few connections to the real world. Watch this space for info on when and where to listen.
