Solis. Inspired by "Triadic Ballet" by Oskar Schlemmer
The artwork shows a stage performance with multiple actors. The background of the image has several overlapped layers with arches, round windows and stairs. In the foreground on the left side there's a girl dancing with a faceless figure, next to them is a woman wearing a dress with an arch attached to it and balls running out of a smaller arch on her skirt. Behind her there's a faceless figure with body parts made of different shapes. Next to the figure there's a child standing still. In front of them there's a figure peeking though a hole in the floor with scissors trying to cut a jumping rope that is used by a young girl. The costumes are inspired by Triadic Ballet by Oskar Schlemmer. The story of the artwork follows the life of a girl played by different actors. The image is colorful and densely decorated with patterns.

The image also shows various animals in different places that bear some personal symbolism for the people in the image. I was channeling Ivan Bilibin to create this piece.
