sonic adventure is such an incredible game that i wholeheartedly love. it is a warm hand guiding you around the possibility landscape of 3D. you can run around and go snowboarding and go fishing or fly a plane or raise a baby angel.

sonic heroes is pretty plainly the best 3D sonic game as a work of pure elemental game design. constantly making decisions. team formation, shortcuts, everything has tradeoffs and there’s always opportunities to optimise. which is why it’s extra funny it controls Like That
