The Skripal poisonings – have British spies learned the lessons?
Rusia's ability to target a defector with nerve agent is almost certainly diminished but it may pose other threats, the BBC's security correspondent writes.

The fact that four hostile drones tried to hit Zelenskyy’s plane & it’s barely a blip in the news cycle should terrify everyone. We’ve been dragged so deep into the chaos era that an attempted strike on a world leader doesn’t even break through. When this becomes normal, the world is in real danger.

Data centres are energy hungry but what if we could use their waste heat to heat our homes?

That's exactly what happens in places like Finland: Cities are tapping the vast amounts of waste heat generated by data centres, and feeding it into district-heating networks.

MSM really scraping the barrel for anti-Reeves articles today!!
Truly shocking that Rachel Reeves had the audacity to call herself the U14 girls chess champions when she won the U14 girls chess championship but some bloke thought she was talking about something else.

It’s clear that the primary interest of the US in “peace negotiations” is to create opportunities for Trump, Witkoff, their family members, business partners and cronies to make billions from business deals with Russia, and Ukraine is just the annoying nuisance in the way.

Who wrote this? Some of the language seems too fluent for Trump and not many capital letters!
When you think it can't get worse.

He is the absolute worst American this country can barf up. He has so many enablers and awful sidekicks (Miller, Vance, Hegseth, Noem, Bondi) but for 10 years Trump has embodied the worst of us. Culturally, morally, politically, psychologically.

Of the two trials I sat through as a member of a jury, one definitely did not need a jury.
This is fucking horrific. Trial by jury is a fundamental part of our justice system.
Wonderful. Now Labour plan to "destroy justice as we know it".

Anything else they're going to wreck on their way out of office?

Remember: it is ALWAYS much easier to break things than to restore them. So their reckless legacy will linger long after they're gone.

Probably won’t see this in mainstream media - aka the right wing press - coz it’s against their narrative. Wind energy in Britain broke a new record last week with nearly 23GW on the grid one cold windy evening. That was 56% of all electricity on Britain’s grid.

Ridiculous
Why do these ppl never get their comeuppance? Why do we tolerate a country of deference to ppl who do such calculated harm but never pay the price?
And we wonder why trust in democracy is broken.

I’m glad they got the bastard who did this👇🏼
