Pros like me need its industry-standard colour management, extremely accurate screen, outstanding stylus, compatibility with our desktop tools, and seamless integration with our clients‘ platforms and storage systems. It’s the wrong tool for non-interactive lecture-based teaching.

In a similar vein, my last croissant in Tokyo. Tell @wendyrg.bsky.social that the viennoiseries in Japan are off the charts because some of the top French chefs and pâtissiers set up shop there. Thanks to both of you for providing the information I needed to travel safely.

The Bruce Dickinson show at History was incredible fun in the spirit of 1950s EC Comics. The singer/pilot/Iron Maiden-frontman delivered 1h45 minutes of anthemic horror-themed metal with rousing choruses, blistering performances by his young band, and plenty of audience sing-alongs. Epic!

The soundtrack to today's writing session. Don't ask me why Charo popped into my head out of nowhere, but this is fun Latin disco with some cool guitar work.

Wait a minute! Lululemon thinks polyester pants are proprietary? Where's Herb Tarlek when you need him?

A friendly reminder that we share the planet with Haruki Murakami, which makes this a great time to be alive. #literature #japaneseculture #books

I am revising my contributions to a sustainability report. As I tighten the text, I am inspired by Haruki Murakami's desk. It's neater than mine but the basic elements are the same: Mac, quality stationery, fountain pen, coffee, lamps, and curios. #penlife #japanesestationery #japaneseliterature

Writing and editing an annual report. To destress, I cleaned a couple of fountain pens I bought at the turn of the century. Cold water, a couple of drops of Dawn dishsoap, and a syringe have worked wonders and these pens are usable for the first time in decades. #penlife

Brewed an espresso and put on Laurie Anderson's stellar "Amelia." I need to centre myself, focus my energy, and seek out beauty.

Japanese stationery. Swedish-design cup. Colombian espresso beans. Daft Punk's "Horizon" from the Japanese pressing of "Random Access Memories" on the speakers. It's a cold, beautiful day but I'm keeping warm.

Surely, I'm not the only one who needs a little push to start writing again after three weeks of reading, walking the dog, and lounging about the house (with a few bike rides thrown in for fun).

Remake Idea: Harvey, except Jimmy Stewart's character sees and hears an invisible Till Linderman of Rammstein instead of a giant rabbit.

That feeling when the fountain pen forum suggests using a cartridge to determine whether your converter is faulty and you spend 15 minutes trying to find the pack of cartridges you last used on a flight to Chicago. My heart says, stick with fountain pens, while my brain screams gel pens from Muji!

Reading Murakami (The City and Its Uncertain Walls) and listening to Radiohead (Kid A). I am in a trance.

Our beloved rescue, Krypto, died in May at age 10. (He was six in this picture.) When I told people I'd named him after Superman's pup, their faces often lit up. The world needs more shaggy dog stories. Let's hope your film helps unite more people with canines in need.

I saw Silent Running on television when I was seven-years-old and was gutted. I saw it again in my 50s with director and special effects wizard Douglas Trumbull in attendance and thanked him for being such a big part of my childhood. To this day, merely mentioning the movie can induce me to tears.
