I thought Josh Szeps had a good article today’s SMH. So 99% of cross cultural engagements in Australia are perfectly fine with our mutual tolerance, kindness and sense of good humour. But how can we average citizens contribute to deal with overt bigotry and racism? Psychology? Start with curiosity?

Bare minimum levels of firearms in the public, if not zero. Guns, if any, are locked up at the gun club.
We really (me included) need to stop engaging/arguing with gun nuts.
They are beyond rationality and they don't care how many people die.
