Today, Scottish Government published their analysis of responses to the consultation they held last year on a draft bill to end conversion practices. Please note that the analysis and responses contain upsetting content - we would advise caution to anyone reading the analysis or individual responses

We have written to the SPCB about their decision to ban trans women from women's toilets, and trans men from men's toilets in the Scottish Parliament.

This decision will exclude and segregate trans people at the heart of Scotland’s democracy.

Allies: we need your support more than ever before.

We know that many people are feeling shocked and angry following yesterday’s Supreme Court ruling and are looking for ways to get involved and support the trans community.

We'd urge people not to panic - there will be lots of commentary coming out quickly that is likely to deliberately overstate the impact that this decision is going to have on all trans people's lives. We'll say more as soon as we're able to. Please look out for yourselves and each other today 💗🏳️‍⚧️

Conversion practices seek to change or suppress who we are and who we love on the basis that being LGBTQA+ is "wrong", and that it's better to be heterosexual and/or cisgender.

They still happen in Scotland, and that has to change.

Conversion practices still happen in Scotland today.
They’re done on the false belief that LGBTQA+ people are broken and we need to be “fixed”.

We’re not, and these harmful practices have to end.
