I shit you not, I was listening to the song “Chicago” when my friend texted me that the Vatican had sent up white smoke. But I didn’t put it together until right now because we didn’t learn the pope’s identity for like another hour

If I was a writer on Yellowjackets, I wouldn't have killed off Natalie even if Juliette Lewis wanted to leave. Instead, I would have had her scuffle with Misty in the woods. But when Natalie stands up, she's Sophie Thatcher. Someone says, "You think you're so much better than us. You always did."

Hey, gang. Asking for a friend. I am looking over my shoulder for snipers on the rooftops as I type this, but what do we do if we, uh, may have *whispers* lost a library book?

Here’s what we are NOT going to do, champs: we are NOT going to vote for Andrew fucking Cuomo. I know NYC is medically incapable of electing a decent mayor, but this is a bridge too far.

don't mind me...just an autumn/winter girlie dreading the return of summer bc not only is it so HOT that you want to rip your own skin off—but also all the TV shows go on hiatus and you don't even get your weekly emotional support episode to get you through the sweaty, sunburn-y, bug-bite-y week?

People love to be like, "Yellowjackets would have turned out so different if they had a female coach! If Coach Ben was a woman, she would have never let Jackie sleep outside!" And...respectfully?

I do believe that part of the reason Mitch McConnell stubbornly clings to life is because, on some level, he knows what punishments await him on the other side of the veil

✨ YA BOOK NEWS ✨

I'm so excited to announce that my next YA duology, a romantasy called WICKED ENDEAVORS, is coming in Summer 2026!

If So Let Them Burn was about the power of love, then Wicked Endeavors is about the poisonous yet motivating power of hate. Black female rage abounds in this one 😈

lorelai gilmore is a deeply dysfunctional individual but one fault i will NOT ascribe to her is the idea that she wouldn’t be receptive to luke discovering he has a kid

I wrote a book (THE AUSTEN AFFAIR, coming in September 2025 from St. Martin’s Griffin) in which the grumpy male lead in a Northanger Abbey film adaptation is a true animal lover who excels at working with the horses on set…….Jonathan Bailey, I have a role for you

Being honest: it was incredibly frustrating that I spent years trying to build up my writing community on Twitter only to powerlessly watch the site die before my eyes in the months leading up to my YA debut.

Please be kind and share this reintroduction thread so I can find my people!
