Trump is pressuring Gov Josh Green to expedite the renewal of 65-year old military leases in Hawaii, and the Dem governor is capitulating. Grateful that a global team is partnering with Hawaii experts to analyze the true costs of US military occupation. Here’s some events coming up!

Thank you Phyllis Bennis for lifting up the story here — the Yemeni civilians.
NEW: Multitudes of Congresspeople, pundits, former intelligence and military operatives, and too many journalists are all outraged by Signalgate.

Seemingly no one among them is paying much attention to the actual scandal: The Yemenis under the bombs.

IPS scholar Phyllis Bennis in @thenation.com:
Bombing Yemen: Signalgate Deserves to Be a Major Scandal
But the assault on Yemeni civilians the hapless conspirators discussed in their private chat group is an even bigger disgrace—though so far the press haven’t paid much attention.
