I spent Inauguration Day with Gloria Steinem, a reminder that the antidote to fascism is feminism, that we are linked not ranked, and the struggle is long and intersectional. Happy to see our DMZ crossing pic on her book shelf. She’s impacted so many lives and movements.

The economy is in decline, doctors have been on strike for half the year, Yoon and his wife embroiled in endless scandals = Yoon’s popularity at 17%. Weak leaders impose martial law when popular morale is low. Although there have been massive protests, not like the 🕯️ protests.

Many predicted that Yoon would impose #martiallaw because he appointed his high school alumnae to the Seoul Metropolitan Defense Command and to the military intelligence agency which are central to implementing martial law. 🧵
