I hope this isn't the plateau before a drop-off because I want to be forever rid of that other place.
Current bsky user growth is very close to 0, and could even turn negative if a lot of bot accounts are deactivated. Gotta work on gaining more momentum.

Cuomo suing Charlotte for standing up to him is a classic power-abuser move. Don't let his reliance on the DARVO (Deny, Attack, Reverse Victim & Offender) playbook distract you from the fact that he was found to have sexually harassed a dozen women.
As if he couldn't get any more vindictive than wasting millions in tax-payer $ to harass and intimidate the women suing him for sexual harassment, Plaintiff Cuomo is now frivolously suing Charlotte for defamation. My thoughts are below.

The new year is 12 days away. Time hasn’t felt real. And I know everyone will be making resolutions mostly around self improvement, but I keep going back to the need to deepen relationships and foster more love and joy. The world is so dark and we desperately need more light to anchor us through it.

I'd suggest calculators and Google Translate also fall into the understanding category. I do get the concern, but I find we're having a deeply conservative, counterproductive response to a scenario that requires adaptation over handwringing.
I appreciate the apparent symmetry between the two scenarios, but I really don’t think they are equivalent. In the case google, one lost the ability to test recall. In the case of AI, one lost the ability to test understanding.

The hyperbolic panic over ChatGPT in education is just a redux of the Google, Wikipedia and calculator panics of the past. The way we educate students changes as technology evolves. The problem isn't emerging technology, but archaic learning assessment tools that new technologies render useless.

I don't have time to be outraged about people stanning Luigi Mangione because my sister is in the hospital fighting leukemia. We even did a GoFundMe to help with what insurance wouldn't cover. I'm more upset about countless people dying needlessly for corporate profit than some insensitive TikToks.
