Not to mention what this would mean for NATO. I don’t think the NATO articles would have included provision for the event of an attack by a member nation on another member nation. Would it mean that NATO then attacks the US? Madness.

By any standards, Mark Kelly is an extraordinary man. His dedication to the service of his country is absolute. Trump and Hegseth’s dedication to themselves is also absolute. Unlike Captain Kelly, there will be no memorials dedicated to them.
Especially knowing that Trump has just spoken with that tyrant immediately prior to the meeting and felt the need to announce that fact to the world! Also, Trump’s security guarantees are just hot air. Ukraine were given the same guarantees when they negotiated away their nuclear arsenal!!!!
