I'm taking a few days off in the middle of August to have a break. Only challenge: I don't know where to go or what to do.

REQUIREMENTS:
- Accommodation not outrageously expensive
- Good natural environment

ALTERNATIVE:
- Stay home and bludge

Does you or your company have a bunch of #stressballs or #squeezie #balls/#items that they don't know what to do with?

I want them! I have an idea for something.

Follow me and we'll see what we can work out.

@realmsunknown.bsky.social Have you looked at the trope of police figures (or similar) turning up as soon as a vital clue appears in the hands of the protagonists? This seems particularly the case for TV and movies, but it makes no logical sense.

Random thought: Cardinals are going to be paying a fortune for flights to Rome to make the #conclave
Random question: Which #cardinal has the longest trip in terms of stops to Rome?

I’ve raised $200 and am walking toward a $500 goal in the Bloody Long Walk 💚
35km for mito, and a great reminder that discipline, purpose & persistence go far—on the footpath and at work.

Clearly, my studies have done me well, with my #3yfk bracket currently sitting first at the Elite 8 stage. Hopefully, there will be no need for rectification

Earlier today, I walked 12 kilometres as part of my training for the Bloody Long Walk.
Feel free to scan the QR code to donate.

I'm miserable.
I don't know what to do with myself.
I don't know how to fix a situation at home.
I fear so much for myself and I don't know who to turn to.
I wish that crying would fix everything, but I know it won't

Is anyone else finding that they are not using X, Threads or Bsky as much anymore?
Or is it just me and my desire to see photos and videos on Instagram?

I've got my first PT session in *looks at watch* about 20 years - has anything changed?

The elevator in my building has been down for about 24 hours, with no timeline as to when it might be repaired. It's a very first-world problem, but I want to do my grocery shopping, and there's quite a bit of it. Lugging it up 6 flights of stairs is not part of my plan for today.

You know those days where everything sucks, you feel like an imposter and you don't know where you're going in life?

Yeah, that

Is anyone using this in the way they used to use the App That Shall Not Be Named (or Deadnamed)? I just feel like the interaction here is just not there yet.

A useful feature they could add to bluesky is labels to clarify if someone in your feed is going through a personal crisis or live reacting to football

I've struggled with the #visualization component of #meditation. Does anyone have any recommendations on how to get better at that or find a good workaround for it?
I want to improve my #mentalhealth in 2025 and am hoping meditation could form part of that.

Yesterday, I walked along the Yarra from Burnley to Dight Falls, before following the Merri Creek Trail to Rushall. I then walked along the Inner City Rail Trail to Royal Park.

That was about 23 kilometres, and my feet feel fine now.

Why now? Why has my anxiety and depression decided to kick itself back into being after all this time? Why do I now struggle with social events with lots of people when it wasn't an issue when I was younger? Why do I feel like I'm not far from the verse of tears slowly rolling down my face?
