Respect (or lack thereof) for refs is one of my real bugbears in football, so I'm all for how Alex King handled that — both the sending off of Valkanis, and getting both captains together to lay down the law.

It's just painful to watch Victory play right now.
So utterly disjointed all across the park, and besides Nish, just completely lacking a killer instinct in the front third.

Would love to know what happened to that whole "only the captain can talk to the ref" change introduced this #ALeagueMen season.
Haven't seen any adjustment in players' behaviour, and it doesn't seem to be being enforced by the refs either.

Only took me til age 38 to win a premiership 😂. Definitely didn't think it'd be as a goalkeeper, but boy does it feel great to finally break that duck!

5 straight AAMI Park games in Dec/Jan, and then 6 of 7 at AAMI between February and April.
If they can get off to a quality start *before* all of that occurs, it'll hold them in pretty good stead.

Quite incredible that Adam Taggart managed to get to 10 goals this season, given the *entire* Glory team managed to score just 22 times in 26 games.
