A family friend was telling us about what her husband shared about his experience in Broadview before he was deported back to Mexico. She's been sharing to friends and family because she's just in disbelief & horror what her husband told her. She wasn't able to talk to him until he was in Mexico.

Gov. Jim Pillen said he asked Nebraska state Sen. Dan McKeon of Amherst to resign last Friday. McKeon is accused of groping a legislative staff member at a party earlier this year and was cited by the State Patrol last week.

Nebraska Treasurer Secretary Tom Briese has resigned, Gov. Jim Pillen announced today.

Briese was a two-term state senator appointed to that position two years ago.

Pillen is appointing Joey Spellerberg, the major of Fremont, to the position.

Husker Athletics was once in the enviable position of being profitable enough that it could fund scholarships for nonathletes. Thousands of Nebraskans have benefitted since 2018.

I would like for national political reporters to place a moratorium on “But what will voters in the rest of America think about New York City’s socialist mayor?” We don’t care! Red states are notably full of psycho politicians yet rarely do you see pundits asking Brooklyn people about them.

The Gage County Board of Supervisors is trying to ban a dozen or so Beatrice residents who attended a No Kings protest from standing on the courthouse lawn.

I'm shaking almost too hard to type. I entered SLC airport and heard screams and cries for help. I could see people gathered around, watching. I sped over to discover this woman face down on the floor, four grown men pushing her down, while she cried "HELP ME" and pled for her child.
