Small victory lap today. Officially down just over 24lbs since late February and since I found out I was diabetic, I've been working to get my blood sugar down from 450 almost a month ago to 123 this morning. It's been hard, but rewarding :)

Playing a ska show on Saturday in my hometown, at the same place i went to my first show some 28 years ago as a fan! This time I'm headlining it playing trombone for Pilfers, with The Scofflaws (who played that first show!) and Be Decent!
Oh, and it's free! Come thru Long Island!

Well I fought back from a 7 match deficit, but alas I'll fall 3 points short of taking back 1st place in this year's Skampions League. Well done Chris Headley/Elmwood United. Now I have to hope I can hang on to 2nd place in the last week!

Day 28, Anime you wish you had another season of
There are few anime I wish had more content than Cowboy Bebop. Its crazy how much of an impact this show had with just a 26 episode run. I've read about why it was so short, but damn I just wish it could go a bit longer.

Unfortunately I've never really read Manga. I think I tried to pick up Full Metal Alchemist from a book i found in one of those lending libraries once, but meh, I wouldn't count it. I really should do this one day tho.

Day 26, most time on the watch list
This one easily has to be Dragonball Super/Daima. I love DBZ, and DBZA is one of my favorite things ever. I started super a year or so ago, but haven't had the time or desire to really binge whats left because I don't want it to be over,

Didn't I just do this one earlier in this challenge? The wording was slightly different (eg. Most recent anime), but the answer is still #SakamotoDays... tons to catch up on, not much time chasing what is 'new'. I like it so far.

Day 23, An anime you recommend
There are many to choose, but my most recent addiction had me blast through 7 seasons, twice! (once solo, once w/ my wife!), My Hero Academia. Its surprisingly fun if a bit broken at points. I'll probably watch it again before season 8 drops in Oct.

The two biggest mindfucks of anime shows Ive seen are so weird they're better when you're high/subvert expectations, I gotta go with #SuperMilkChan, which is borderline unwatchable and #ShinChan (the funimation dub) which is hilarious!

Day 18, favorite drama anime
I admittedly don't usually watch Anime unless it's got a scifi/action bent to it, but I remember i enjoyed the movie Your Name, and even though that's got a bit of a time travel mechanic, it counts. Wouldn't call it fun, but moving for sure.

Hard choice, but eventually settled on Sword Art Online: Alicization. I'd be more willing to give this a pass if it was its own thing, but it was a weird departure from SAO. Honestly forgot about the real-world story many times. It was ok, but overall meh imo
