Hmm, hard agree. I have given zero attention to Wicked the musical so bought this thinking it was the story based on the film, which I’d seen the day before and really enjoyed. I think that’s why it felt like a slog of a read, it wasn’t what I was expecting at all.

Finished Wicked yesterday. Took half the book to get into it but loved it after that. I’ve started an old 90s horror upstairs but can’t remember what it’s called - The Walkers or something like that. It’s not very good tbh but at least it’s a thin book… 🤦🏻♀️

It would only take a phone call to find out, KS should put the question to ‘the EU’ and the country can move on from there. I doubt they’d say no, suppose you never know though with the state of this country atm.

I was just going to say, Chat GPT (I’m EXTREMELY new to AI) has given me some brill recipes and ideas to use up stuff in the fridge but I asked it a question that I pretty much knew the answer to about bay leaves and it was completely wrong.

Eugh. Yes. I don’t really read YA but accidentally started one recently that had no teen characters - mum was definitely 30 (recurring convo in the book), dad I assume the same, a ten year old and a baby. Author threw in a bit of slang and references to teen stuff but completely naff.

This was mum’s hate about life - having to stop grapefruit when she changed meds. Grapefruit was (weirdly) her favourite food. 🤭
I’d make too much of a mess to attempt jam tbh, I can imagine the state of the kitchen if I tried.

I got away with making out I baked the pain au chocolats from Iceland for about 18 months until I had to come clean when one of them asked for them when we hadn’t got any 😂
