Went for a little walk
An old building in Tribeca with some nice shadows, both from its own window arches and from the buildings surrounding it. The right bank of windows seem to have been replaced with brick, and graffiti (which I can’t read) covers those bricks. A shiny red Lamborghini (Gallardo I think?) poses for a picture mid turn. A man carries a tiny Canadian flag, leading what appears to be a tour group. It is cold, but maybe his weariness is for other reasons. Warm street lights post sunset in the financial district. Two silhouetted figures walk down the street, backlit by the light falling on a large brick wall. To the left, lots of scaffolding in various places. Buildings in the distance are still lit by the dusky light.

A funny work prank would be to, mid-meeting, get bathed in a beam of honeyed light and taken aloft on a breeze that smells of the first spring you can remember, billowing away gently through an open window that appears on the wall. Have you seen that window before? The faded white paint is familiar
