Last year I painted our basement den pink and created an art area for myself. And then it mostly sat there unused. This year I’ve been prioritizing time for creativity (without any expectation of outcome) every morning. I’ve made the most beautiful mess and my mornings are so joyful.

I’m seeing Meijer on lists of companies that aren’t backing down on DEI. I wanted to believe that, but I was skeptical. I looked up the internet archive capture of the Meijer site from 4/2023. At that time there was a “Diversity & Inclusion” page with pride flags, and links to ERGs and partner orgs.
