Just finished a shift at Grace Emergency. We have 52 active patients in a department that was built for 30, every hallway jammed with stretchers to make more room and an additional 40 patients in the waiting room. This is a catastrophe.

The problem is that when you design solely around driving you make a city that is unusable without a car, and pretty poor with one. When you prioritize the alternatives to driving everything, including driving, becomes better.
