it was an insufferable journey of the thing being extremely confidently wrong about a staggering number of things and gaslighting me into thinking I didn't know what I was doing

the only way out was to ask it to shut it and link me some papers/sources written by humans to study

pagination is good actually and we should bring it back.

Infinite scroll is a dark pattern, makes it easy to lose your place, and is often implemented inefficiently.

"Kids are so stupid these days!"

Actually no, everyone is becoming stupid. Some people, by luck or by determination, manage to avoid the constant forces pushing them towards de-skilling, learned helplessness, and unreality, but I think people are greatly exaggerating the importance of age.

The fabled "Super junior" Ai vibe coder who herds entire teams of agents to do tasks is trading developing their own skills for things that are entirely likely to no longer require them. Being an "AI whisperer" is not going to be all that valuable if AI improves to the point of not needing one

The President of the United States is threatening to go to war with an American city.

This is not a joke. This is not normal.

Donald Trump isn't a strongman, he's a scared man. Illinois won’t be intimidated by a wannabe dictator.

It's kind of insane to me that CORS is still so poorly understood in the developer community. Like if you have spent any time working on authentication for a web service you ought to appreciate what it does for you regarding blocking XSS and CSRF and related attacks.
