Exit 8, the film that you are!

The adaptation mixes an unsettling loop through liminal space with a moving journey through guilt, despair and hope.

PRO: Increased reach, both for business and for info & advocacy dissemination. Social media presence is equal to "existing" in real life these days— a take I dislike and disagree with because of burnout, but have to accept nonetheless.
T3. What do you think are the benefits of having a public Facebook page of your work/career? What are the disadvantages and risks? Give us your take.

FAQs and disclaimers as necessary.

Maybe regular health education posts, or an occasional Q&A for the target audience to generate engagement (but people might abuse this).
T2. If you could start a work-related Facebook page from scratch, what would be the necessary elements?

I don't have one (and don't think I'll want one). Not checking FB myself these days post-diplomate exam, actually.

I used to handle our FM dept's page, which is for announcing events/activities/achievements. Teleconsult, on the other hand, are handled on a separate FB page.
Hello #Healthxph fam and friends!

I'm Stephanie from Dumaguete City, Philippines, I'm the moderator for tonight, and I'm going to hosting a chat on:

"Career Facebook Page: Starting from Scratch!"

T1. Do you have a public Facebook page for work-related posts? Tell us about it.

Rereading and ruminating on Miyazawa Kenji's poem 雨ニモマケズ (Be Not Defeated By The Rain) after a long time. It hits harder than usual for some reason, maybe because I'm older now?

This is the first I've heard of the Japanese Association for Gender, Fantasy, & Science Fiction's Sense of Gender Award (similar to @otherwiseaward.org, it focuses on SFF that expands or explores our understanding of gender), evidently it's been awarded since 2001!

Rereading "These Vital Signs" by @therealdoctort.bsky.social to reflect on recent things. Always enjoyed following his stories back on Twttr, as they bring back many memories from residency training, both thr good times and the bad.

Found this traditional Chinese wedding dress displayed in a cafe I visited today for some reason. This one's apparently called the Fengguan xiapei (凤冠霞帔).

Whew, I'm finally getting my bearings in online spaces once more. Still taking it easy for the most part, but I'm glad to be back, even if just for a little bit. :)

Not using choonxie!Twitter anymore; that's a relief. (My IRL account still has to be there, though, since it's locked unlike on here.)

"Am I pretty?"

Give a neutral reply—you know the algorithm.

She's unsatisfied.

Her cold grip doesn't faze you.

Cloth mask pulled down, she smiles. "What about now?"

Laughable.

You pull yours down, too.

She's white as a sheet.

That's what she gets for pretending.

I became a hematologist because I thought it would grant me unlimited access to the blood bank.

I should have become a pathologist instead.

And now the actual pathologist is looking at me strangely as I all but snatch the blood bag from his hands while drooling.
