I can’t imagine how this feels for my other trans family, who have been out for far longer than I have.

The dread comes in with the worry that I’ll be robbed of catharsis because this may still result in nothing happening whatsoever. And to the people who I begged not to vote Trump because of how much it would hurt me and my friends, they’ve just been ignoring the news since he came into office

Honestly the only part about it that’s even somewhat surprising is that the NYT knew all along and just…didn’t say anything. Especially because I was raised conservative so I was taught that all them liberal medias HATED the GOP and would do ANYTHING to hurt them.

Bit of a shock there.
