Gran Senda de Malaga, the Caves to Frigiliana section, I genuinely think it's one of the best walks there is. A lot of narrow paths over steep slopes, last year with my other glasses it was definitely type 2 fun. This year after ditching the varifocals I was able to enjoy it.

I have been walking up and down the sides of various hills and ravines in Andalusia and amusing myself by occasionally going "there's no way the bloody French cavalry will follow us up here (bastids)"

Cunningly in his "look, my SS insignia tattoo is gone!" photo he appears to have accidentally shown off a second one. There's a 1919 on the left of the picture, which you might think could be innocent if it wasn't on a guy with a totenkopf.

A letter arrived today that brought me joy. It's stickers from my friend @billhookunion.beanyear.com
I'll be putting one of the round ones on my phone case, but I can't take a photo of the back of my phone without cleaning my mirror so you'll need to use your imagination.

Not a cassoulet, just a sausage casserole with pretensions, but it's turned out cassoulesque and that'll do nicely.

My version of this walk starts along the old North Road, pops into the visitor centre at Killiecrankie for the gorgeous patisserie, comes back down the other side of the river, crosses the Coronation Bridge over the Tunnel, then everyone gets a bit grumpy with 2 tarmac miles, but it's nearly perfect
