That's a very extreme example, since the characters are literally in a VR re-creation of the movie for a bunch of scenes lol. 🙃

Now trying to imagine how bizarre that whole sequence would be for folks who had never seen The Shining before

Been a while since I saw this. I remember my main takeaway upon first viewing being a bit floored by the number of iconic scenes. One of those handful of movies where you've "seen" half of it before actually seeing it.
