The UK has the highest energy costs in world, this is despite being completely self sufficient.
In the 1970's we had the lowest Energy costs in Europe.

I went to the supermarket this afternoon and watched the egg shelves. So many people picking up a box of eggs and just walking away without opening them to check for broken ones!

Today is Jean Sibelius' 155th birthday!
I was one year old when he died, aged 91.
I have loved his music since a 1960s SNO schools concert.
That concert was also memorable because the roof fell in. Or at least a big chunk of it crashed down into an aisle.
