well, i spent my day off chatting with a veteran of 30 years, cleaning my oven (self cleaning, but it took 4 hours), looked at a new apartment, and then have spent most of the day working. it's time to turn off the laptop, and just go make dinner and continue watching whatever show i am streaming.

This evening, President Trump is ordering 400 members of the Texas National Guard for deployments to Illinois, Oregon, and other locations within the United States. No officials from the federal government called me directly to discuss or coordinate.
