Me (image 1) half hour ago: "I'm so excited to play this game!"

Me (image 2) just now after this roll "I HATE THIS GAME!!"

(just kidding, I actually enjoyed it, but this was the most unlikely roll you could get with these dice 😅)

I see great things ahead for this empire! Nothing can possibly go wrong!
If you would like to up your daily thinking about the Roman Empire, Deep Print Games is coming out with a co-op legacy game about the Rise of Rome in 2027. #spiel25

I am incredibly happy to be friends with so many designers in this hobby. Every time a post pops up of a new game they've designed I get a sense of pride for them. Imagine being so talented you can create multiple joyful experiences for others ❤️

This is weird. It is obvious why it's happened, but it is weird, right?

Had a two player gaming session today, so I brought these games along!

How did I do with my selection?

Just got an email through about a new game based on Hercules and the 12 Labours, and the artwork has me crying 😂

Do you think it should be open information how many times a board game has been played at the time of being reviewed?

No big deal, just one of the most beautiful pictures I've ever taken in my entire life 🥹

Gonna toot my own horn and say this about me too, but only because once, after teaching a group at the cafe I work at, they suggested I become a teacher...

...and they were a group of teachers. They even offered me a job!
I think teaching games is a skill and, to toot my own horn, I think I'm pretty good at it. My formula? 70% knowledge, 20% energy 10% being loud.

Picked this up in Japan as I've heard nothing about it and couldn't find anything on BGG or the Internet and it's just been released here. I love the OG so hoping this is good too 🤞

This might be a first for me, seeing proper board games for sale in the airport (past security!)

Anybody else know the curse of being scanned at security for having a deck of cards in your bag?

Taken from a Facebook group but thought this was really cool. Not played Everdell but I love that gamers will utilise their skills to self upgrade their favourite games!

One of the best 'accidentally overheard' conversations I've ever experienced happened in my game cafe last night:

"There's no way that's for ages 2 to 4, that was soooo tough!"

"Babe that's the number of players"

Game night!

Played these 3 last night. Surprisingly Village Rails was the crunchiest game of the evening, causing major decision making paralysis by some of us!

Which one would you like to play?
