Despite having moved an ocean away, I can't stop watching the dual dumpster fires of Chicago and US politics. The Right is terrifying. The Left is disappointing (and I still have some lingering PTSD from the abusive behavior within Chicago's Left.) Can't. Look. Away.

But also how convenient that the primary extensive progressive social media network that had been aiding protest & organizing for The Left is now gone. It will take to rebuild it here, IF that happens at all.
