On thia day in 1967, Wilbur Joe “Bullet” Rogan passed away at the age of 73. One of the original two-way players, Casey Stengel called him “one of the best—if not the best—pitcher that ever lived." Here’s my painting of him with the Monarchs in 1924, based on the photography of J.E. Miller.

On this day in 1946, Walter Johnson passed away at the age of 59. In my mind, he’s definitely one of the top three pitchers in all of baseball history, and arguably in the top spot. Here's my painting of him as a 19-year-old with the Weiser Kids (Southern Idaho League) in 1907.

Visited the Josh Gibson statue at the Washington Nationals ballpark this weekend. Made me think of the time I visited his gravesite in Pittsburgh on a crazy uber ride to find it. Also, visited his HOF plaque in Cooperstown.

I’ve been on Twitter since April 2010, and the only thing that keeps me there is Baseball news and Baseball cards! Today I almost deactivated it. I want to so bad.

Figured I’d share this with everyone before shipping. Sold this through IG this morning. It was complete with all stickers. Great vintage hockey collectable moving to a new home.

The Hobby will be slow and stubborn in acknowledging a new reality, but that doesn’t stop me from blowing against the wind.
