I am willing to acknowledge that we maybe just had a shit world seed and or that the gameplay for that area was just so radically different that we didn’t really grasp it at the time. none of us has had time/money to run another server since.

mostly that the mistlands was all just craggy islands and finding the new resources was a huge pain in the ass. and because it was almost exclusively small craggy islands we were insta fucked if one of those giant flying ticks showed up cause we had no real ability to move around to fend off attacks

Dude they are BRUTAL 😭😭 but haven’t been too awful, maybe the balance is better? Traversing them is a huge pain in the ass

the last time i played Valheim with a group of friends the Mistlands was as absolutely our least favorite area. i hope the newer stuff is less of a pain in the ass.

Dan Da Dan is definitely the first Anime i’ve watched where i’d confidently say that the differences between English and Japanese dubs are purely a matter of how the character archetypes tend to present in general in various media, if not also IRL, between Japanese and Western cultures.

but more importantly, listening to the other characters i gotta say that the english version definitely seems to keep the core of all the characters pretty dang close to the Japanese. like, the biggest difference is that Seiko’s voice is a smidge deeper and slightly more gravely.

even I a, straight white dude, think these redesigns are terrible. Did they hire a Dem strategist for these? (trying to cater to people who will just buy a Chevy/Ford/GMC anyway)

all i know are the python tutorials in “Learn python the hard way”. i can’t remember if freecodecamp has a currently functional tutorial set or if that’s one of the courses they’re currently working on.
