I've been working on my drawing and the loomis method faces lately. I've been drawing Tim Cain while doing this. All the zooming in and studying the guys face feels a bit person. Like... I'm sorry sir, I'm not a creep. I've just been measuring your nose position in zoom again and again.

Prepping for otherscape. I want a city map so everyone knows where they are. Last time the group used a location that isn't currently a city as a new city. I used probabletrain.itch.io/city-generator to build it. The world already has been hit by global warming so there was a lot of migration.

I played Spirit Island yesterday. It's still one of my favorite board games ever. Me and my wife already played it an obscene amount of times but it's good to have people over to play the game with us. If anyone who sees this ever gets the chance to play spirit island do it. One of the best games.

Someone I know from a previous job asked me to play in their Chronicles of darkness game the other night. It was fun. Everyone knows Chronicles of darkness was good. It's just a multipart Halloween adventure. The whole world of darkness is a good system choice for short Halloween adventures.

If anyone wants to play in an online Otherscpae campaign, I'm thechiatroll on discord. Sundays 4pm MT 2 weeks on 1 week off. Session 0 will involve mega city generation. Lgbtq+ friendly only. Audio will be on Discord sheet organization and and dice will be my foundry server. #TTRPG #Otherscape

My Otherscape game didn't happen. I did a session 0 two weeks ago and other then my wife everyone was a new player that I found online. My normal friends drifted schedules since I ran a game. None of the others showed up. It was in my foundry server and discord and we waited half an hour. #TTRPG

So we finished playing in a six part mini campaign of Mythic Bastionland campaign yesterday. I played the Mock Knight and then the Hooded Knight. I can only speak from the players perspective. It was nice to explore around on a hex crawl and find things. The myths give a lot of good prompts.

We are having guests we don't know extremely well over to play xia: legends of a drift system with expansions. I always use a whole second table for ships and upgrades. Xia is always a good game to play.

My session zero for otherscape went well. We used the tables from the book to build the city, and there is a lot of mythoi happening in this city. The players picked new Appalachia for the name of a mega city in the what was state of New York post global warming. Everyone has two districts to name.

The expansions for earthborne rangers came in the mail today from team covenant. I'm pretty exited to be adding these to my game. I don't be able to play today though becuase I play in a mythic bastion campaign layer today. Stewards of the valley, moments on the path and legacy of the ancestors.

Sunday, I have my session zero for my biweekly Otherscpae campaign. This campaign will be my first time MCing (GMing) a mist engine game even though I've GMed and played plenty of games. I hope it goes well.
Had a lot of stress this year and I hadn't GMed in a while, though.

I recently started playing earthborne rangers with my wife. I'm liking it's mixture of rpg and deck constructors similar to Arkham Horror, but with a more interesting world. I like how it handles ecosystem interactions. I bought the expansions now. My board game collection is a bit large.
