Just woke up even angrier. Impeach, convict, remove. Draft articles now. Either we have a representative government or we don’t. Do not shut up about this until there’s a vote.

The #SpaceGirls campaign just implausibly pulled off a dangerous prison break! 👏 We rolled terribly and lost a party member (core NPC), but ultimately it’s still satisfying because of classic Star Wars themes: narrative grandeur and a last-minute rescue driven by hope. You wish you had our GM.

Merry Christmas! Even though a lot of this year has been utter shit in many ways, I hope today provides some comfort, peace, and fun for you.

This is incredibly painful for me. I have never asked for help like this before. But I have had people reach out to me asking if they can help, so I am sharing my story and finally asking for help.

I've been lucky to have a lovely group of followers here, please share if you can, anything helps <3

If you appreciate someone you work with, tell them! Let them know you think they’re awesome and why! A few of my colleagues have reached out with gratitude about my “people first, product second” approach. I’m both really happy and gratified that focusing on people works. Positive reinforcement!

I am so deeply sorry to be in the position to have to pull this lever again, but I just watched my car get towed away and I don't really know what else to do anymore.

More details in the update & description, but if you're able to help out or share, we would be grateful beyond words.

I now know of three people close to me who either have or are at immediate risk of having cancer. My brain is struggling to process it. If anything feels off or you have a genetic risk of any particular health risks, please get things checked out. Take care of yourself.

I’m so happy with the live action Percy Jackson show! There are changes from the books, sure, but it embodies the wholesome and entertaining essence of what I remember from reading those books so many years ago. They’re powerful demigods second and snarky, earnest, neurodivergent teenagers first.

Awful things happening this weekend. Truly awful. So much senseless, violent hate. I’m so sorry that this is the kind of world we live in right now. I hope for better, one day in my lifetime. Perhaps another watch of The Princess Bride is in order.

I had one of those “gamer chairs” for a while and it sucked, especially if you spend many hours sitting at a desk. I did some research and bought a Herman Miller chair a few years ago and I’m never going back. I immediately felt the difference and still do. My cat also steals it regularly. 😆

I’m still waffling over if I want to spend the money to go to GDC in March. 🤔 As an introvert, the idea of a week-long solo trip at a busy conference where everything in the area is expensive is a bit daunting. Plus, seeing how GDC is changing doesn’t exactly inspire confidence.

It was awesome to see this live! The energy of the crowd was invigorating and the D20 crew were amazing. This show in particular is one for the super-fans that have seen most if not all of the intrepid heroes’ campaigns, but it’s still fun regardless. The Lou Roll was iconic. 💅

It’s a little scary how bad the flooding is this week. Not something you ever want to set records on. I’m safe, but thousands of others aren’t, and the timing being so close to Christmas is awful. 😞
Officials warned of “locally catastrophic” river flooding in Washington state Wednesday amid a major atmospheric river storm that was poised to drop 20 inches of rain in the Cascade Range.

Two rivers north of Seattle, the Snohomish and Skagit rivers, were predicted to crest at record levels.

Dozens of rivers were forecast to spill their banks across the Pacific Northwest, as Washington state braced for its worst flooding in at least 16 years.

This is the only poem I wrote in college that my poetry professor truly liked. 😅 It came from a place of frustration and feeling unmoored, and curiosity to think that maybe being unmoored is okay. #smallpoemsunday

I’m so impressed with Kat. She clearly has the wherewithal to meet constituents where they’re at and is tuned into what’s culturally relevant to get the millennial and younger crowd fired up and invested. We need a lot more of this energy in Congress to make federal-level improvements.
I’ll be streaming with famed American Girl Shoe Doll Designer Brennan Lee Mulligan!! Make sure to tune in Monday, Dec 8 at 6:30 PM CT on Twitch or YouTube!

Happy Dragon Age Day! I hope against hope that this series lives on somehow. It created wasn’t afraid to take innovative risks, explored intriguing lore, was queer as hell, and made you fall in love (or at least sympathize) with a lotta characters and the world of Thedas. I’m replaying Veilguard!

It's World AIDS Day. Since the Administration has decided to keep it quiet, I'd like to share my introduction to AIDS.

I grew up in Seattle. My mom remarried a man who had a brother who was a King County Sheriff's Deputy. His name was Terry and he was gay. 1/x

This is a common response to QA in particular. 😮‍💨 As a Quality Engineer, I’m in a lot of meetings and spend time strategizing, documenting, and negotiating for Minecraft. It’s more about collaboration between stakeholders and drilling into specific screens or user flows than playing games all day.
“Wow so you get to play games all day?” as a reaction to me being a game dev still has the power to make me instantly need a nap
What’s the worst question someone can ask after you tell them your profession? For linguists, it’s definitely “how many languages do you speak?”, but I’m curious what else is happening to the rest of y’all out there?!
