And I keep harping on this because this is a moment of galvanization when a lot of people are getting involved for the first time which is really fucking great and these people are showing extremely bad leadership and encouraging people to do things that can get them into trouble

Do these professional associations realize that our resolutions are the best thing that could happen to them? They energize membership and draw people to join. And yet the AHA would rather declare itself irrelevant.
