I hope history remembers the mid-1990s as they truly were, as the Marvin the Martianaissance.
Saw the trending topic "Voice legend Clancy Brown" and my heart fell into my stomach before I realized the rest of the sentence was "turns 67" and not "dead."

That's going to be a rough one for me, when it eventually happens many, many years from now.

We might live under a corrupt and immoral regime with no light at the end of the tunnel, but on the plus side, the Seahawks won the 1 seed in the NFC.

I can't speak for all millennials, but I spend my time improving myself, improving the lives of others through service, traveling, spending quality time with my loved ones, and yeah, being sexy and having fun.

I don't know this Shane Morris, but he sounds like a real loser.
Straight white cis monog man can't imagine being sexy and having fun past 39

I've read a fair amount of Arthurian fiction, certainly more than most, and the one consistent, immutable truth I have discovered is that Welsh is the most ridiculous, dipsy doodle language ever conceived. Just bonkers.

When we do spinal fusions at work, we 3D print the uncorrected vertebrae for the patient. I sure would like to be able to scan my skeleton and 3D print a replica of it. Is that a thing? Will someone do this service in exchange for payment?

Dreamed I got fired from my gig as an extra in a John Sayles movie about Depression era baseball because he insisted actors have hats many sizes too big or small to reflect wealth disparity and I couldn't stop laughing at a tiny hat guy.

I'm working Christmas Eve from 6:30 PM to 7:00 AM, with long stretches of downtime, so I may post a considerable amount of stray thoughts to pass the time.

Also, don't forget to turn your work alarm off for tomorrow.

I think if everyone but a handful of people, including myself, got PLURIBUS'd, and the Others were trying to please me, I would request to go on a global roller coaster tour with David Arquette. I'll need the theme parks staffed and a handful of guests, but never so many I wait in lines.

Tried out some PC demos

Cabernet: visual novel with RPG elements. Also, you're a new vampire. Big VTM vibes. Will be getting.

He is Coming: pixel graphics, retro sounds, autobattler. May get someday. Reminded me of Loop Hero.

Average Steam review:

"Picked this up on sale for $7. The game started well enough, but after 350 hours of playtime the game started to get repetitive. It's a good idea and mostly well-executed, but I can't in good conscious recommend a game that recycles material."

Do you have a favorite roller coaster? Tell me about it. Do you have a coaster you've always wanted to ride but haven't yet? I want to hear about it too.

Basically, I'm starved for roller coaster conversation.

I don't know who will play in the Super Bowl, but I cannot imagine it will be as good a game as the current Rams-Seahawks game.

WAKE UP DEAD MAN might lack the panache and overall fun vibe of KNIVES OUT, but it certainly felt more poignant and heartfelt. I'll never not love religion in movies, especially when it's done in good faith and understands Christians aren't just naive idiots or cruel villains.

I'm not saying Dick Van Dyke turning 100 deserves a national holiday, but we do have holidays commemorating less...

I think the most upsetting thing about Netflix purchasing WB is when it comes up at work and I say "Yeah, it's pretty terrible" and everyone looks at me with a bewildered look and says "Why?"

Insidious business dealings are a problem, but people's passivity toward it are what frighten me.

To the man who brought his Great Dane to the antique store today, God bless you.

Intellectually I know they are very large dogs, but as a pretty large mammal myself, they feel normal-sized and it is refreshing to pet a dog without having to stoop down. Plus, Danes are just beautiful and rad as hell
