SUCH an important text. I've been thinking about Jeffords' concept of "Terminal Masculinity" a lot after seeing Predator: Badlands.
Using any chance I get to push Susan Jefford's 1993 book 'Hard Bodies: Hollywood Masculinity in the Reagan Era', such a foundational study when it comes to action cinema in particular
