I called my Congresswoman Dina Titus. I also wrote a letter. Its easier than you think. I urge you all to go to www.house.gov enter you zip code in the upper right hand corner. If getting re-elected is what motivates them to act then they need to hear from us IN FORCE!

I went to the 50501 protest on the Las Vegas strip. I realize that the larger gatherings were at the capitals but I had to show up anyway. It was peaceful and we were very well taken care of by Metro police. They made sure our path was clear even clearing parts of the strip to make way for us.

Looking for some good book recommendations. I googled the top 50 books but the list was rather intense. I'd prefer more contemporary literature, heartfelt perhaps some drama or horror or fantasy. I need a break from politics. Everything in my bookshelf is new age or self help.
