It’s scholastic book fair week at school which is the worst. It’s the week I help an evil corporation prey on children (& their nostalgic millennial parents tbh) by selling them shit that is six months from the Great Pacific Garbage Patch because there is no funding for our library outside of it.

the thing about severe SAD is that I can know I have SAD, I can talk about it and do all the things--sit by my SAD lamp, move my body every day, drink lots of water, etc--but it's not until a stretch of warm days & I start to feel like a person again that I'm like "oh I REALLY have been SAD"
