Another waiting room, another hospital, today Pat is having a brain/head MRI (just a precaution) I'm sat alone in a cold deathly quiet waiting room while he has the scan.. looking at nothing but anxiety inducing safety posters..

Sat in a GP surgery with my mum waiting, her appointment is 30 mins late so far... we're sat next to the reception with a microphone loop... mum is complaining to me, like only my mum can.. and I can see the receptionists chuckling and smiling in my direction clearly hearing it all...

Another visit to the vet with Maggie, the European vet apologised for a small verbal stumble when explaining something complicated, "Sorry, my English is so bad". I mention this because in my opinion her English was excellent and superior to many who use English as their first language
