You want to see something immaculately cool? This is a picture of my dad at a rock concert in the early 70s. The photo was taken by Jim Brandenburg, legendary nature photographer and local hero. Jim was a staff photographer at a local paper, friends with my dad, this print hangs at my mom's home.

Gwen had a great day today. We met up with her former foster family at a dog park, and then discovered goats were installed in our neighborhood to munch on overgrowth.

RSD is a big deal in this town. I got in line about 6am, checked out at 10:20am. I got Don't Let Go and too many other things, but I was 4 people away from getting the poster. I asked the clerk if they had anymore, and he went and grabbed me the one they had hanging in the window.

I bought this dog bed about two years ago, to replace the one I got from her foster family, which was showing age. She never used it and avoided it, but I never got rid of it. A week ago, doing laundry, I put a load of sheets on, she starts nuzzling, and I spread them out,, now it's acceptable.

This was well deserved, and I am so happy he is the Vikings coach. They deserve his arc to a Super Bowl win.
