I wish I could make video games, sci fi, and cheese
It's a cool simulation of space markets and industries, but there's not a lot of fun. At the default state, the markets will explode without player input, but it's tough coming up with a fun loop that has rewards and encourages the player to keep this society afloat.

The main lesson I learned so far is that I need to invest a lot more time in planning. And not go "I'll figure that out on the way" (Yeah, but after you procrastinate for an hour+ because making decisions is hard)
but I don't like taking orders or participating in society
so I'm participating in my own made up 6 day 3 day game jam

It's a crazy underrated game, that aged GREAT (a technical mess when it came out, yeah that's why it reviewed to 5/10s, but now runs perfectly on modern PCs)
And its setting and narrative has only gotten more relevant and is still super unique

"Let's just open the IDE"
"Ok we'll start working at [specific time]"
"Let's go over the todo list again"
Eventually it breaks and I do get to work.
