Did Whitehouse.gov used to be a cesspool of partisanship?

Seems quite unprofessional
The White House
President Donald J. Trump and Vice President JD Vance are committed to lowering costs for all Americans, securing our borders, unleashing American energy dominance, restoring peace through strength, and making all Americans safe and secure once again.

PHM is still up 13% YTD which is wild considering the rather substantial headwinds they have. There's a story in here about the irrational exuberance of the overall market over fundamentals.

So everyone but OAN? Cool.

When you show weakness, you can't assume you're in a stronger negotiating position.

Who wrote the "Art of the Deal" again?

Exactly. It would be the first real justification of the use of the insurrection act.

I think you’re ascribing big brain strategy to feckless surrender.

Who is this mythical voter they believe needs to hear exactly the right message to stop us from a side into authoritarian kleptocracy?

This is related.
This is a massive, history making abuse of your power. It will define your legacy and one day you will come to regret punishing free speech and trying to destroy democracy.

FWIW this is because of Nexstar with ABC just sealing the deal. This doesn’t look like censorship as much as cronyism in an age of kissing the ring.

Maybe it’s just intrinsic. It’s continuing to defend the rule of law, freedom of speech, free markets, freedom of opportunity, and multilateralism.

Running candidates like @jamestalarico.bsky.social ?

Maybe we lose. But we fight with our commitment to the truth.

But also don’t fund the govt.

Like refuse to fund the government? @schumer.senate.gov would never…

The dems have other options at their disposal like…

* control of zero branches of government
* ever diminishing number of legacy media outlets
* The bond market?

What are they going to hit with? Moral outrage?

FWIW most of the incredulity I’ve seen is coming from the right. I hear what you’re saying, but also I don’t think we really know how fractured the chronically-online right is right now.

There is a ever diminishing middle in the age of the algorithm. There are sides and those who are disengaged or unreached.

And when it comes to disposition the latter, fear/hate is more persuasive than measured curiosity.

Maybe nihilistic, but worth saying where we’re actually at in this story.

So you're saying I can tell my wife buying 500ft of 12/2 for my 50ft run was actually genius?
